I then go into Device Manager, find the device in Other Devices and when I view the properties Windows says no Driver is loaded for this device. I imagine though if it’s not listed in Pronterface it’s not going to be there in System Information. Thanks peetersm for testing and proving this method works. In Windows it still says the ‘Device is unable to start Code 10 ‘. There is a small chance you have bad firmware but more like it is a windows issue.

There is a small chance you have bad firmware but more like it is a windows issue. To at990usb128 it global you will probably need to at90uzb to the path. The pins are circled in this image. At90usb dfu would uninstall the USB device and try installing again using the downloaded driver.

Hi Vfu, From your description, it sounds like the base firmware was not installed correctly. I could see it being a driver issue, but I did try this on 3 different machines with two different OS versions following the exact steps listed in the getting started section. Ask a new question Ask a new question Cancel.
I would uninstall the USB device and try installing again using the downloaded driver. I assume that you power cycled the board or pushed the reset button after at90usb dfu jumpered the BOOT pins. Powered up the printrbot.
Installing DFU driver – FlySight

Brook just gave me permission to post the firmware links. What does dfu-util -l say? This is what I see under System Information: Sorry at90usb dfu the delay in replying, been traveling at90usb dfu. Can’t get printrbot to connect to computer Sponsor. I imagine though if it’s not listed in Pronterface it’s not going to be there in System Information.
It is setting up GCC I think to compile code locally. For the rest of it I’ve tried every single port I have on two completely different machines.
